Lakewood, CO - I got into a sneezing fit today… and yesterday… and the day before that… and I probably will tomorrow as well.
As soon as I started sneezing my coworker said it was time for my early afternoon sneezing fit. I blamed it on my mint gum and he laughed.
Why would I blame it on my gum? Well, I notice things. I notice I sneeze when it become very bright all of the sudden, when I have a strong mint or mint gum, or even when I go from very warm/hot to quite cold (like walking into Best Buy on a hot July day and they're blasting their A/C).
So I decided to google it up and see what I found. Sure enough I have Autosomal dominant Compelling Helio-Opthalmic Outburst syndrome (ACHOO – the 'D' and the 'S' are left out to make it a better acronym).
I hate how there is a 'syndrome' for everything but now I have one. Now, am I able to break the law and blame my actions on my syndrome?
